When Battery, as the LA Clippers’ official creative agency, set out to amplify the team’s rising identity in LA’s crowded sports scene, the goal was simple: make downtown LA feel the Clippers’ momentum everywhere, from the streets to legs in the seats

Campaign Design

I led the art direction and design for a bold wild-posting campaign. Working closely with the creative team at Battery, I crafted heroic visuals of the Clippers’ star players—Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Lou Williams, Patrick Beverley. We paired each star with powerful typography and their iconic nicknames to inject personality and pride into the city’s urban canvas.

This campaign transformed streets into visible declarations of Clippers pride. As LA’s ascendant team, the Clippers harnessed urban environments to chart a bold cultural presence—an important chapter in their brand evolution

This was grassroots brand storytelling at scale—using key art and design to elevate athletes, spark community energy, and assert the Clippers as LA’s legitimate basketball force.
